John Njenga is the Co-founder and lead guide of Savannah Pride Safaris. He was born at the foot of Mau Escarpment one of the western walls of the Great Rift Valley.

  His interest in nature and wildlife goes back to his early age whereby he was an active member of the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya. John joined Tourism College [UTALII COLLEGE] and qualified with a DIPLOMA in Tour operation. He later joined National Museum of Kenya as volunteer and later came an active member of Nature Kenya [East Africa Natural History] this exposed him to learn more about Nature and its Environment.

  John’s interest in Wildlife persists and he was lucky to secure a job with Friends Of Conservation. [F.O.C] conservation organisation working in Masai Mara for conservation of wildlife. He greatly enjoyed life in the wild doing what he liked most towards environmental conservation and wildlife protection.

  When his contract expired, John was determined to scale the heights in East Africa tourism sector. As a guide, his job exposed him to interesting BBC Wildlife Documentaries. Filming experience mainly the Big Cat Diary.

    The number of clients seeking his service continued to rise, thanks to hard work and determination and candidly from references of clients who value and trust his services. Famous Wildlife photographer like ANDY ROSE and CHRIS BRAY are among the clients that John served over the years
